Amazon’s Performance Quality teams are tasked with making sure products sold in the marketplace meet minimum standards because their primary goal is ensuring happy customers. 

When you have buyers complain that your products aren’t up to snuff, that means you either have poor quality products or there is some other issue (or the obvious known concern of items being returned with inaccurate statements about what was wrong with them so that there is no cost to the buyer for return shipping).
